PENTAX Intros 10-Megapixel Optio E60 Budget Digital Camera

PENTAX has just introduced the Optio E60, the brand's new "budget" 10 megapixel digital camera. With prices of consumer goods skyrocketing these days, some of the less-interested would put off buying gadgets in favor of basic daily necessities. As such, I believe there's a market for Optio E60 not only in countries with developing economies but in the developed world as well.

Don't expect anything fancy though; the PENTAX Optio E60 has an optical 3X zoom lens with wide angle that makes it perfect for landscape photography. Other features include face recognition, auto picture, High Sensitivity Digital Shake Reduction, World Time and Date Imprint functions, Image Recovery function, and a mode called "Green" that automatically sets parameters with a single touch for new users. Running on two AA batteries, PENTAX Optio E60 will be available starting October for $140.
