This stylish new 10 Megapixel ultra-compact digital camera is packed with technological marvels. It features a Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, 2.5" LCD screen, and a new MPEG-4 movie-recording mode, so creating and sharing videos and images has never been so easy.

Following the phenomenal success of its fashionable predecessor, the FinePix Z10fd, the FinePix Z20fd comes in five mesmerising colours – Ice Blue, Panther Black, Tropical Green, Champagne Pink and Diablo Red.

Ultra-fast Face Detection
The FinePix Z20fd boasts Fujifilm's acclaimed ultra-fast Face Detection technology, which will seek out faces in the darkness of a party to give perfectly focused and exposed pictures every time.
A green square surrounds the face of the primary subject on the camera's LCD screen, whilst white squares identify up to nine other subjects. Movement tracking keeps the camera 'locked on' to its subjects until they move out of the picture. The technology works regardless of the subject's position in the frame, and is not confused by anyone wearing glasses.

Automatic red-eye removalRed-eye is the single biggest reason why the best portraits are ruined. The FinePix Z20fd uses Face Detection technology to find and instantly correct any red-eye from every face in the frame. Getting the camera's on-board processor to do this fiddly retouch is so much easier (and accurate) than trying to do it on a complex photo manipulation package.
The system on the FinePix Z20fd will only correct redness in the pupil of the eye, not elsewhere in the picture, because the camera uses eye detection within Face Detection to find the pupil. While other cameras can sometimes convert lips or red jewellery to brown or blue, the Z20fd never gets it wrong, and it only takes a couple of seconds.

Achieve the perfect photo in a flash
This camera continues the Fujifilm tradition of offering the user choice about lighting, and those who prefer to use flash will benefit from Fujifilm's Intelligent Flash system.
Intelligent Flash detects subtle lighting differences within a scene, and then varies the flash intensity accordingly. It also uses the high sensitivity of the FinePix Z20fd to enable the camera to use less flash, preventing that "blasted with light" effect that so many digital camera flashes leave you with.
For times when it's not clear whether flash is appropriate, the FinePix Z20fd's Natural Light & Flash mode takes two photos in quick succession, one with flash and one without. Both photos are then displayed side by side for quick comparison so that you can decide which one to keep.

Anti blur
Users will immediately appreciate the benefits of Fujifilm's Super CCD sensor. The increased surface area means it is more sensitive to light, enabling faster shutter speeds to help reduce image blur and the need for flash when taking photos in low light.
The Picture Stabilisation mode on the Z20fd uses high sensitivity (up to 1600 ISO) to help reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low-light background detail to deliver virtually blur free images.

Special Scene Modes
No matter what the event or where you travel, your Finepix Z20fd is ready with easy–to–select modes bringing you a simple point-and-shoot camera with automated professional settings. Simply choose a Scene Position that suits the situation and you have the ideal settings for everything from shutter speed and exposure to white balance at your fingertips ready to capture the image.
The display of helpful descriptions of each mode and Scene Position make it simple to explore the versatility of the Z20fd, and with 14 special scene position modes, including, Snow, Night, Beach and Party, the FinePix Z20fd is ideally suited to any photo opportunity.

Advanced Movie Capture
The FinePix Z20fd's impressive new full motion MPEG-4 video mode makes capturing and sharing internet-friendly video clips easier than ever.
Using the Successive Movie mode, in-camera editing allows for the creation of a 60 second movie clip, even when shooting in two or more scenes is desired. Start and restart multiple times to build a 60-second compilation, and edit the start and end points.
This combined with Fujifilm's Picture Stabilisation Technology uses higher sensitivities and faster shutter speeds to reduce image blur caused by camera shake or low-light conditions, ensuring users get the footage they want.

Photo sharing made simple
There's no fun in taking pictures if you can't share them, and the FinePix Z20fd makes it easier than ever with fast, easy wireless transfer of images between cameras using IrSimple™.
For users wanting to share their creative output with a wider audience, the FinePix Z20fd's new Dual Blog mode automatically resizes any still image or movie you've captured, letting you post pictures and videos to blogs, video-sharing websites like YouTube, or e-mail to friends with ease.
The Z10fd even features an Auction mode, which will group a series of pictures ready for upload to eBay.
Stamp It!
Add a little fun to your images by "stamping" a variety of fun designs to up to three detected faces in your shots!

Micro thumbnail view
The 2.5-inch LCD screen allows you to view your images comfortably. It displays your pictures in a number of alternative ways and enables you to navigate up to 100 thumbnail images in a 10 x 10 array.
In addition you can bring your photos to life by creating your own slide shows by selecting to show images of close up portraits, or view multiple images in a scrapbook style. You can even add a soundtrack to further enhance your image viewing pleasure.
